
Some of my favorite memories from past jobs are the retreat and team-building days that were planned for the staff, and the best ones had a fun activity or a great setting. From a weekend at a monastary in Northern CA to a surfing lesson in Santa Cruz, my fellow employees and I had a blast connecting and learning together.

And because of this, some of my favorite classes to teach are employee team-building days. What a better way to work together than to prepare a delicious, healthy vegan meal and get to enjoy the fruits of their labor afterwards? Everyone loves to eat, and this is a wonderful way to bring everyone together. Add a TriYoga class, and you’ve got a group of relaxed, well-fed employees!
Vegan and/or yoga programs are also perfect for employee in-service days. Research shows unequivocally that employee wellness programs have a significant impact on business – not only on productivity and employee retention, but also on organizational health.
