One of my favorite things is green juice. With the right combination of ingredients, green juice is like nothing else ~ pure nutrition, instant energy and total freshness.
One of my favorite juices is incredibly simple – kale, romaine, apple, ginger and lemon. Red apples are good, as are green ones.
If you don’t have a juicer, you can still enjoy the benefits of fresh juice by blending it. Simply cut the ingredients in to smallish pieces and place in the blender, add enough water so that it blends smoothly, and then strain. You will need a really fine strainer such as a nut milk bag, or much more affordably, a paint straining bag (that’s what I use when making nut milk – will go into this more in another post).
