Happy New Year!
So how many of you made New Year’s resolutions? Go to the gym… eat better…. sleep longer… play more…. How many of these do we think will make it to next month? Next week even?
It’s kind of counterintuitive in some ways. For many people, it’s the middle of winter, cold and snowy and icy or rainy, and we don’t even want to leave the house, let alone tackle a whole new list of changes to be implemented immediately. Just because the calendar has turned to a new date, we suddenly expect ourselves to become what we think is a better version of ourselves. For many of us, not so much. (I’ve included an article in my newsletter this month about some ways to ease into our desired changes. If you haven’t signed up for it, you can do that on the right side of this page where it says “Receive my newsletter”).
One thing that we can easily do is add some more nutrition into our days by including a green smoothie. It’s so easy to get lots of fruits & veggies when we drink them, and it’s quick and delicious. And it’s even easier when you have the 40 Days of Green Smoothies E-book, written by my friend Becky at Glue and Glitter.
Becky has made it so easy to blend together green smoothies – she gives shopping lists and groups them together so each week’s smoothies share ingredients, so you don’t have to buy ingredients for a dozen various flavors all at once. And she includes handy tips and variations for added nutrition and flavor. It can’t get any easier than this, my friends.
You can read more about the book here.
Becky has generously offered to give away a copy of her book to one lucky reader (and for everyone else, it can be purchased here).
You have until midnight (Pacific Time) on January 9 to enter, and I’ll announce the lucky winner on the 10th. Enter below ~
Good luck, and happy blending!
