3 Delivery Services I Love That Will Save You Time & Money!

One of the things that I often hear people saying they have less time for lately is shopping. And I can understand that. I love to shop, but with more traffic and several different stores to go to for different things, it gets more challenging at times.

You know how it goes ~ you go to Trader Joe’s for a few things, then the larger chain grocery store for a few more things, and then to Whole Foods for those last few specialty items that you can’t get at those other stores that you’ve just been to. Add to that list the household supplies, personal supplies, and not to mention getting out to the mall for clothes. You can spend days going from store to store picking up things that you’ve just run out of!

And that’s why I’ve found that using some of the (many) delivery services that are popping up can be really helpful. I’m not talking about the “sample” boxes where you can try out new things (those are a whole post in themselves!), but the ones where you’re actually buying the items you need and want and having them delivered directly to your door. Here are three of those services that I have used and happily recommend:

ePantry

ePantry

ePantry is a wonderful delivery service for household and personal supplies. They offer great brands such as Mrs. Meyers, Method, Tom’s of Maine, Seventh Generation, Yes to…, and they have a proprietary brand called Grove Collaborative that makes things like amazingly-scented soy candles and all-natural hand sanitizer (that smells like things other than lavender if you’d like a change of scent!)

In addition to delivering the best all-natural brands to you, ePantry also has an environmental mission, and each order that is shipped out saves 25 square feet of rainforest. ePantry is also a certified B Corp company – B Corps are for-profit companies certified by the nonprofit B Lab to voluntarily meet rigorous standards of social and environmental performance, accountability, and transparency.

One thing that I really love about ePantry – they have the best (and most fun!) customer service. They send incredibly friendly emails to their customers to check in and see how you’re doing, and they randomly post fun questions on their website – answer a question and get $1 or $2 off your next order.

And if you join now and place an order using this link, you will get $10 off your first order!

(Try the Method grapefruit all-purpose cleaner or the Grove Collaborative Orange Thyme & Cardamom Candle – they both smell amazing!)

Thrive Market

Thrive Market is a newish membership-based online store that has thousands of products at big discounts. Think Costco meets Whole Foods online, with delivery service. For an annual membership fee of $60 (just $5 per month), you get name-brand items at 25-50% off retail (and 10-25% off online) prices. Thrive Market offers healthy brands like Dr. Bronner’s, Spectrum Naturals, Garden of Eatin’, Bob’s Red Mill, Nature’s Path, Eden Foods, Earth’s Best, Seventh Generation, Garden of Life, Jason Naturals and many more.

And your Thrive Market membership fee has an even more important function. For every paying member who joins, Thrive Market will donate one free membership to a family in need. This social mission fits into Thrive Market’s larger goal of making healthy food accessible for everyone.

When you register, you get a 30-day trial membership and an additional 25% off your first order. Don’t like something you get? Send it back for a full refund, and their customer service team will do what it takes to make you completely happy. Start your free trial membership today!

Stitch Fix

Stitch Fix actually has nothing to do with a vegan lifestyle, but it’s a really fun service that I use. I’ve never been a big fan of clothes shopping. Trying on armfuls of clothes in a tiny dressing room with horrible fluorescent lighting has never been a lot of fun for me. But there does come a time when new clothes are needed. I came to this point last year when I realized that it had been a really long time since I’d bought anything other than TriYoga t-shirts and yoga pants 🙂 .

Stitch Fix is a personal shopping service that sends you 5 pieces of clothing each month (or however often you schedule deliveries) for $20. Try them on over the next 3 days and decide if you’ll keep any and send the remainder back. If you buy, the $20 styling fee is credited to your order (and if you buy all 5 pieces, you get an additional 25% discount on your order). If you send any or all of them back, return shipping is free.

It does take a little bit of interaction to get your stylist to know what you like, want and need. You start by filling in a Style Profile to let them know a little about what you like, and then with each shipment you can leave comments about each piece they sent, and about the order as a whole. You can also set up a Pinterest board for your stylist to check out when they choose pieces, and they write a personalized note to you with each shipment telling you why they sent those particular pieces. I had a couple of months where my stylist was a little off on her selections, so I added a few things to my Pinterest board that I really liked, she looked at it, and it made a huge difference in what she sent me. It’s such a fun thing to do, and some of my very favorite pieces of clothing have come from Stitch Fix!

If you try out any of these services, I’d love to hear about it!

(This post contains my affiliate links. If you use any of them to place an order, your cost will remain the same (or you’ll get a discount!) and I’ll receive a small referral credit. Thank you for supporting Kelli’s Vegan Kitchen!)
